The Cornerstone Process

From consultation to completion, we make floor installation simple and stress-free. We listen to your needs, inspect your space, guide you through premium flooring options like COREtec, Karndean, and Mohawk Flooring, and handle everything from demo to final installation—ensuring quality craftsmanship at every step.

  • Every project starts with a personal consultation. We meet with you to understand your vision, lifestyle needs, budget, and design preferences. During this visit:

    • We inspect your current flooring and subfloor condition

    • Discuss performance needs (durability, moisture resistance, pets, traffic, etc.)

    • Review flooring materials including laminate, LVT/LVP, and tile

    • Explore product catalogs from COREtec, Karndean, and Mohawk Flooring

    You’ll select three samples you love. We obtain those samples the same day whenever possible or schedule a follow-up appointment so you can see them in your space and lighting before making your final decision.

  • Once you’ve chosen your flooring:

    • We provide a detailed, transparent bid

    • Collect a deposit

    • Order your selected materials

    We coordinate scheduling and prepare for installation day, ensuring all materials and tools are ready. If tile is selected, we work within appropriate installation standards while accommodating your design preferences.

  • We handle the entire transformation from start to finish:

    • Demo and removal of existing flooring

    • Subfloor preparation and any necessary repairs or leveling

    • Professional installation of your new flooring

    • Reinstallation or replacement of baseboards

    • Toilet removal and reset (when required)

    • Moving and reinstalling furniture

    Our goal is a seamless process and a finished floor that looks exceptional and performs for years to come.
